Bass Master Classic
I know that we talked about bass fishing here recently, but the Bass Master Classic is coming to Lake Hartwell, South Carolina. This event is huge for the local area and for some of us, to see what it takes to fish professionaly. Think about it, traveling every week, staying in hotels, eating out everyday, being away from family, and fish all the time. Now besides fishing all the time, the rest of the list stinks. In my "real job" I have to travel some and being away from family and my favorite fishing hole sucks. Never mind having to spend money chacing a dream on winning the Bass Master Classic.
Beside the travel aspect of being a professional fisherman, fishing itself can very tough. We see some fisherman get hot and win a few bass tournaments, but staying on top is tough. It’s not like racing where you rely on a machine to respond repeatably. Bass fishing in all differant types of lakes can make any fisherman go nuts. Let alone go back to a hotel and think about it all night. That is why I think it is important to come out and support thier efforts. The admission is free and is great for up and coming fisherman, our kids. Your children may tell their children they saw Kevin Van Dam will the Bass Master Classic. I’ll see you there!!
